Educaton Days

CGBD will be introducing team wide education days.  These will be done once a month at each pool.  They are open to all swimmers and parents that are at that pool, regardless of group.  On this page we will post dates, times, and locations for the talks.  Afterwards we will get the notes and/or power points posted to this page.  We are excited about expanding our educational opportunities. 

Most of these will be run by Irene Bierie.  She is our new Strength and Psychological Training coach.  Irene has a Masters Degree from ODU.  She currently teaches PE in the Hampton School District.  She has been very involved in tri-athlons.  She even competed in the Iron Man in 2008 in Wilmington, NC.  We are pleased that she on board with us and look forward to the advances she will help our swimmers make.
